This is my go to salad dressing. No preservatives, you get to choose what kind of oil to use, and my kids love to dip raw or steamed veggies in it (even my somewhat-picky child will eat LOTS of green beans or carrot sticks with this dressing). Use raw, local honey and it will even help fight allergies and winter colds!
2 TBSP each of honey, mustard (I prefer dijon or spicy brown), and balsamic vinegar (apple cider vinegar works, too) 6 TBSP oil (I usually use olive or sunflower)
Combine all the ingredients. If you put them in a glass jar you don’t even have to measure. You can just add roughly the same amount of honey, mustard, and vinegar, then pour in about the same amount of oil as all the other three ingredients combined.
Give it a good shake to combine. It will be thick enough for dipping or drizzling, so you can always thin it with a little water if you want to toss a salad with it.
